My wife and I had dinner Saturday night with some friends from Indiana. They were inquiring about us having 3 campuses and the strain it must be on me physically, emotionally and mentally. No doubt those things are a reality and we are certainly feeling that pressure. However, I was quick to tell tell them and I will state it here…I love what I get to do!! Preaching the Gospel and seeing people saved is my passion!!
What are you truly passionate about? You know – that one thing that you constantly think about, dream about and find most of your conversations centered around.
Passion evokes emotion. There is no such thing as an emotionless passion. Passion is the fuel that drives your life.
We must live life with passion. Passion creates opportunity; passion doesn’t punch a time clock; passion doesn’t get you to persevere; passion sweeps you away.
Oliver Wendell Holmes said, “As life is action and passion. It is required of a man that he should share the passion and action of his time, at the peril of being not to have lived.”
There are many things in life that will catch your eye. But only a few that will capture your heart.
What has captured your heart? What are you passionate about? Mine is preaching/ leading and watching God do what only he can do.
My heart has been captured!
